Fishery Report » Lough Inagh Lodge Hotel and Fishery
[ May 2010 ]
May is becoming a distant memory. Very little rain did not help angling or anything else for that matter. There was very little angling on Inagh this month due to the dry weather but there were a couple of notable catches. UK angler Derek Woods caught the first fish of the season, a cracking 8.5lbs Springer from the Derryclare Butts on a Silver Rat. Charlie Clifton (Dublin) caught a 10.5lbs specimen brown trout from Lough Inagh in adverse conditions on a Green Peter. There were a few other Brown Trout caught and some salmon encountered, but the season still is waiting to kick off, maybe when the first goal is scored in South Africa, we will start scoring as well.
