Steeped in history, Mount Falcon Country House Hotel was originally built in 1932, in July 2006 it was newly renovated by the Maloney family and now offers guests 32 stylishly decorated bedrooms including 4 deluxe rooms and 2 suites. The estate also offers 3 and 4 bedroom self catering suites located in 3 separate area’s around the 100 acre manicured estate. The Courtyard, The Lakeside and The Woodlands.
Our ‘ Kitchen ‘ restaurant specialises in the finest, freshest quality Irish produce and is complimented by our Boathole Bar.
Our leisure centre consists of a 17meter heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, gym and pool loungers. The Fishing
Mount Falcon Fisheries comprises of 2 mile double bank private fishing and offers the angler an opportunity to catch wild Atlantic salmon by any legal method, as our fisheries has both fly and bait water to suit all tastes. Residents of Mount Falcon enjoy a 20 % discount on daily permits.
Access is mainly by boats, operated by our guides who are there to help and distribute anglers around the fisheries. Should you require a private ghillie do not hesitate to ask as one can be hired for the day. Mount Falcons proximity to the tidal waters of The Moy (a mixed stock fisheries) ensures a constant flow of fresh fish throughout the season but is most effective from April – September.
Sea trout fishing on the estuary can be arranged and is a great day out for all the family or alternatively we can arrange brown trout fishing on Lough Conn and Lough Cullen. The region’s reputation as a game angling destination is uncontested but it also offers limitless opportunities for sea and coarse angling.
